A tap that opens your card
An NFC business card is a card, tag or sticker with a chip that opens your digital card when a phone is held against it. Umbel does not sell the tags; any NFC tag works once your card's link is written to it. The other phone opens your card in its browser, and one tap saves you to contacts.

How it works
- 1
Get any NFC tag
A blank tag, card or sticker from any shop. Umbel does not sell them, and you do not need a special one.
- 2
Add an NFC link in Share
Open your card's Share and add an NFC code. It is a share link of its own.
- 3
Write the link to the tag
On Android, Write to tag does it from the browser. On iPhone, open any NFC writing app, choose to write a URL, and paste the link.
- 4
Tap it to a phone
Hold the tag to the back of their phone. Your card opens, and Save contact puts you in their phone.
What you get
Any tag works
The link is a plain web address. Any NFC tag that holds a URL can hold it.
Nothing to install for them
Phones read NFC tags on their own and open the link in the browser.
Change your details, keep the tag
The tag holds the link, not your details. The card behind it can change as often as you like.
Unlimited on every plan
NFC links, QR codes and short links do not count against anything.
Keep the QR code too
If a phone does not pick up the tag, the QR code opens the same card.
