Where they differ
Scans in the plan, not on a meter
Wave Connect's AI scanner runs on credits at $2.50 each. Umbel's AI card scans are part of each plan: 5, 50 or 100 a month.
Two seats against three
Wave Connect Teams needs three users. Umbel's Team plan starts at two, with the template, locked parts and invites included.
Both give the card away
Wave Connect's Free plan includes the card, wallet passes and a lead capture form. So does Umbel's, with one card and a Join Umbel line.
For one person, Pro is $4 a month against Wave Connect Pro at $7 billed annually. A Team seat is $3 against $5 per user. Wave Connect's figures are from its pricing page on 11 October 2026.
