A digital business card for a financial adviser is a page at umbel.me/@firm/you that a client opens from a QR code, an NFC tap or a link and saves to their contacts in one tap. The firm sets one template with its name, website and logo locked, and each adviser fills in their own name, title and number.

How it works
- 1
The firm makes the template
Design, colour and font set once. The firm's name, website and logo are locked, so every adviser's card carries them the same way.
- 2
Each adviser fills in their own
Invited by email or a link, an adviser adds their name, title, number, email and photo. Their card is at umbel.me/@firm/their-name.
- 3
Share across the desk
A QR code on the phone, a pass in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, a tap on an NFC tag, or a link in the follow-up email.
- 4
The client saves you
One tap puts your name, number and email in their contacts, spelt right, with the firm's name attached.
- 5
When an adviser moves on
The card is archived and unassigned, and the firm passes it on. The client contacts it gathered stay with the firm.
What you get
The firm's details, locked
Name, website and logo come from the template. An adviser cannot change them, and the firm changes them once for everyone.
The adviser's own
Name, title, number, email and photo are the adviser's to fill in, within the firm's design.
Cards that stay with the firm
A team card belongs to the firm. When someone leaves it is archived, unassigned and passed on, and its contacts stay.
Nothing for the client to install
The card is a page. It opens in the browser and saves in one tap.
Current after a change
A new number, a new office, a new title: change it once and every client who kept the card sees the new one.
What the card counts
Views, link clicks and scans for each adviser's card, for 90 days on the Team plan.
