Saving your Umbel card to Apple Wallet means your QR code is accessible in one swipe — no need to open an app or search for a link. It also works offline, which makes it ideal for events with poor connectivity.
Requirements
- An iPhone running iOS 12 or later
- An Umbel account with at least one active card
Steps
- Log in to Umbel on your iPhone in Safari.
- Open your card from the dashboard.
- Tap Add to Apple Wallet.
- A pass preview appears — tap Add in the top-right corner.
Your card is now saved to Apple Wallet.
Using your card from Wallet
- Double-click the side button (or swipe up on the lock screen) to open Wallet.
- Select your Umbel card.
- Your QR code is displayed — let your contact scan it.
Troubleshooting
The Add to Wallet button doesn't appear. Make sure you're opening Umbel in Safari on your iPhone. Some iOS browsers don't support Wallet passes.
My pass shows outdated details. Wallet passes update automatically when your card changes, as long as your phone has a connection. If it still looks stale, remove the pass and add it again from your dashboard.
I removed my card from Wallet by accident. Just add it again from your dashboard — same steps as above.
