If your card won't open for someone, work through these checks in order.
The QR code won't scan
- Increase your screen brightness — a dim screen is the most common cause.
- Hold the phone steady, 10–20 cm from the code.
- Use the phone's native camera app; on older phones a dedicated QR scanner app may be needed.
- If you printed the code, check it's sharp and at least 2 cm across.
The link opens but shows an error
- Check the URL was copied completely — a truncated link won't resolve.
- On a team account, if the card belonged to a removed member, the card has been deactivated and its link no longer works. Ask your admin if this is unexpected.
The card shows outdated details
Cards update instantly when edited, but the viewing phone may have cached an old version. Refresh the page, or close and reopen the browser tab.

Edits aren't appearing in the editor
- Check you're editing the right card if you have several.
- On a team plan, fields locked by your template can't be changed — those values come from your admin's template.
